History

Located in Karnes City, Texas, PMI OIL TOOLS has been a manufacturer of quality downhole oil tools for almost 25 years. In 1983 PMI started as a contract manufacturer for Elder Oil Tools, manufacturing anchor and packer components. Through the years, PMI OIL TOOLS has become a supplier to all the major and independent service companies, and developed an extensive manufacturing capability. PMI OIL TOOLS breadth of products has grown considerably over the years, and now offers complete assemblies as well as replacement parts for 'Baker' and 'Elder' style equipment.

Management

CEO/President – Simon Perales

Simon started in the oil industry working for Elder Oil Tools in the 1970's. Mr. Perales understands the industry well, and is an expert in manufacturing and
oilfield products. Throughout the history of the company he has been instrumental
in the expanding operations, and developing new products.

V.P. Sales & Engineering – Bill Tapp

Bill has a combined 30+ years industry experience, with Baker Oil Tools and Elder Oil Tools. He was a lead design engineer for Elder Oil Tools, and made significant contributions to Baker Oil Tools sales, technical, and engineering in lead roles. Bill’s extensive industry experience and industry contacts make him ideal for leading PMI’s expanding product line and sales.
